  • What is the last date to apply for subsidy under Industrial Development Scheme, 2017 (IDS)?

    The last date to apply under IDS is 31-Mar-2022. Please refer the gazette notification of the scheme for detailed guidelines.

  • What is new classification of MSME?

    The new classification of MSME applicable from 01/07/2020 as per MSME Development Act, 2006 is as follows:
    Micro Enterprise:Investment in P&M < 1 Crore and Turnover < 5 Crore
    Small Enterprise:Investment in P&M < 10 Crore and Turnover < 50 Crore
    Medium Enterprise:Investment in P&M < 50 Crore and Turnover < 250 Crore

  • Can retail and wholesale traders apply for MSME registration?

    Yes!

    Earlier trading activity was not covered under MSMED Act, 2006.

    Government of India through its office memorandum dated 02/07/2021 has now allowed Retail and Wholesale Trade to be covered under MSMED Act, 2006.
